Condolence and majlis services in Al Dhafra

Condolence and majlis services in Al Dhafra: we prepare the place of condolence with what is needed to receive mourners — the tent or majlis, chairs and seating, quiet lighting, Arabic coffee, dates and water, and coffee servers — so the family can give its time to the visitors.

What the service is

A complete setup for the place of condolence — at home, in a tent beside it, or in a hall — from installation to removal after the condolence days. We agree with the family what is actually needed and add nothing that was not asked for.

Who it suits

For families receiving mourners at home or in their majlis, and for relatives or neighbours arranging it on the family’s behalf.

What we can arrange

  • A white condolence tent with closed sides and ventilation, sized to the site and the number
  • Comfortable chairs and side tables for coffee, water and dates
  • Carpets and floor cushions for those who prefer floor seating
  • Quiet lighting that lasts until late at night
  • A discreet sound system for Quran recitation
  • Male coffee servers for the men and female servers for the women
  • Arabic coffee, dates and cold water, replenished throughout
  • Cooling with air conditioners or mist fans, depending on the site and season
  • A sign at the entrance
  • Meals for mourners on request — the source is stated in the quotation

Pieces, sizes, quantities, timing and price are set in the quotation according to the site and the number of people.

What we need to send a quotation

  • The location: district, and a map link if possible
  • Whether the majlis is inside the house or in a tent or plot beside it
  • The rough number expected, and whether there is a men’s and a women’s majlis
  • Start time and number of days
  • What you need from the list above

What shapes the setup

The place
A majlis inside the house needs fewer chairs, less floor covering and less cooling than a tent on open ground, which needs flooring, sides and lighting.
The number
It sets the number of chairs and coffee servers and the amount of coffee, dates and water, and can be adjusted on the following days.
The city
It sets the arrival time and what may be needed if the tent stands outside the property line — see the next section.
Setup time
Installation is arranged before mourners arrive; removal after the last day, at a time the family chooses.

Working in Al Dhafra

Our base is in Al Yarmook, Sharjah, and we serve Al Dhafra; we confirm the arrival time when you call, according to the site. If the tent will stand outside the property line, the site requirements are checked with its management and the competent authority before confirmation.

Districts we serve in Al Dhafra include Madinat Zayed, Ruwais, Liwa, Ghayathi, Al Mirfa, Sila, Delma, Sir Bani Yas.

Next step

Call us or send the location and a rough number on WhatsApp. We do not ask for many details at a time like this; we come back only with what is needed and confirm what will be set up, and when we will arrive, before we start.

Condolence and majlis services across Al Dhafra

The Al Dhafra neighbourhoods we set up in, and what we plan for in each:

  • Madinat Zayed — The seat of the Al Dhafra region and its largest cluster of homes and halls. It is about two hours from Abu Dhabi, so for large events we load and travel the day before.
  • Ruwais — An industrial and residential town on the western coast whose housing compounds have entry rules, so we send vehicle and crew details in advance.
  • Liwa — An oasis on the edge of the Empty Quarter, among dunes and farms; events here are often at farms and estates and need independent generators and special anchoring for tents on sand.
  • Ghayathi — A residential town between Madinat Zayed and Ruwais, whose homes have wide courtyards with room for a marquee and full hospitality.
  • Al Mirfa — A coastal town on the road between Abu Dhabi and Ruwais, where we allow for the sea wind when anchoring tents and lighting.
  • Sila — The far west of the UAE near the Saudi border; the long distance means we bring the complete setup with us and plan the trip a day ahead.
  • Delma — An offshore island reached by ferry, so we plan shipping and the size of each piece in advance around the ferry times.
  • Sir Bani Yas — A nature-reserve island with resorts; events here are held inside the resorts on their schedules, with the setup carried over by ferry.

Can chairs or coffee be added after the first day?

Yes. Quantities are adjusted to the actual attendance; tell us and we arrange it.
