تجهيز عيد ميلاد: الفرق بين حفلة طفل وحفلة كبار

حفلة عيد الميلاد تُطلب بالاسم نفسه لكنها مناسبتان مختلفتان تمامًا. حفلة الطفل تُبنى حول الحركة والسلامة، وحفلة الكبار تُبنى حول الجلوس والصورة. الخلط بينهما هو سبب أغلب الحفلات التي تبدو جيدة وتسير بصعوبة.
حفلة الطفل: المساحة قبل الديكور
الأطفال يتحرّكون طوال الوقت. المساحة الفارغة في وسط المكان ليست نقصًا في الديكور، بل هي ما يجعل الحفلة تعمل.
احسب مترًا مربعًا ونصفًا لكل طفل كحدّ أدنى، واترك مسارًا مفتوحًا بين منطقة اللعب وطاولة الكيكة. الديكور يوضع على الأطراف والجدران، لا في منتصف الأرضية.
انتبه للسلامة: البالونات المنفوخة بالهيليوم تُربط جيدًا، والأسلاك تُثبَّت أو تُغطّى، وطاولة الشموع تُوضع بعيدًا عن متناول الصغار.
توقيت حفلة الطفل
ساعتان كحدّ أقصى. الحفلة الأطول من ذلك تنتهي بأطفال متعبين ومتوترين. الترتيب العملي: نصف ساعة استقبال ولعب، ساعة نشاط أو فقرة، نصف ساعة كيكة ووداع.
الكيكة تُقدَّم قبل النهاية بنصف ساعة لا في اللحظة الأخيرة — الطفل صاحب المناسبة يحتاج وقتًا بعدها للصور ولفتح الهدايا.
حفلة الكبار: الجلوس والإضاءة
هنا تنقلب القاعدة. الضيوف يجلسون ويتحدثون، والمطلوب جلسات مريحة وإضاءة هادئة وخلفية جيدة للتصوير.
الإضاءة الدافئة المنخفضة تناسب السهرة، لكن نقطة واحدة على الأقل — طاولة الكيكة أو الخلفية — تحتاج إضاءة أقوى، وإلا خرجت صور اللحظة الأساسية مظلمة.
طاولة الكيكة هي المركز
في الحالتين، طاولة الكيكة هي المكان الذي تُلتقط فيه الصور. ضعها أمام خلفية واضحة لا أمام باب أو ممر، واترك أمامها مترين على الأقل.
ارتفاع الطاولة المناسب للتصوير بين خمسة وسبعين وثمانين سنتيمترًا. الطاولة المنخفضة تجبر المصوّر على التصوير من أعلى، وهي أسوأ زاوية للكيكة وللوجوه معًا.
الضيافة
حفلة الأطفال: مشروبات باردة، عصائر، حلويات صغيرة سهلة الحمل. تجنّب ما يحتاج سكينًا أو يسيل.
حفلة الكبار: قهوة وشاي ومشروبات باردة وطاولة حلويات، وبوفيه خفيف إن كانت الحفلة مسائية وتتجاوز ثلاث ساعات.

Birthday parties are asked for under one name but are two different events. A child's party is built around movement and safety; an adult's around seating and photographs. Confusing the two is why many parties look right and run badly.
Children: space before decor
Children move constantly. Empty floor in the middle is not missing decor — it is what makes the party work.
Allow at least 1.5 square metres per child and keep an open path between the play area and the cake table. Decor goes to the edges and walls, never the middle of the floor.
Watch safety: helium balloons tied securely, cables taped or covered, and candles placed out of small children's reach.
Timing for children
Two hours maximum. Longer ends with tired, fractious children. The practical shape: half an hour arrival and play, an hour of activity, half an hour of cake and goodbyes.
Serve the cake half an hour before the end, not at the last moment — the child needs time afterwards for photographs and presents.
Adults: seating and lighting
Here the rule inverts. Guests sit and talk, so what is needed is comfortable seating, soft lighting and a good photographic backdrop.
Warm low lighting suits the evening, but at least one point — the cake table or backdrop — needs stronger light, or the photographs of the main moment come out dark.
The cake table is the centre
In both cases the cake table is where photographs happen. Put it against a clear backdrop, not a door or corridor, and leave two metres in front of it.
A table height of 75–80cm suits photography. A low table forces the photographer to shoot downwards, the worst angle for both the cake and faces.
Hospitality
Children: cold drinks, juices, small sweets easy to carry. Avoid anything needing a knife or likely to spill.
Adults: coffee, tea, cold drinks and a dessert table, plus a light buffet for evening parties running past three hours.
