Tables and chairs across Khor Fakkan

The Khor Fakkan neighbourhoods we set up in, and what we plan for in each:

• Al Subaihiya — A suburb that takes in Al Lu'lu'iyah, Al Zubarah and Al Nakheel, between the sea and the mountains. We reach it from Sharjah over the Khor Fakkan mountain road, so loading starts early.
• Al Zubarah — The northernmost district of Khor Fakkan, on the coast, where the sea wind decides how we anchor tents and suspended lighting.
• Al Lu'lu'iyah — A coastal district close to the Khor Fakkan Corniche, with family homes and majlis suited to melcha and henna koshas.
• Al Nakheel — A residential district between the sea and the mountains in the Al Subaihiya suburb, with courtyards that fit a medium tent and outdoor seating.
• Hayawa — A suburb with its own municipal council, running from the residential streets up to the mountain foothills, so we use smaller vehicles on its sloping roads.
• Al Mudaifi — A residential district in the Al Hawami suburb, whose majlis suit indoor hospitality and a medium kosha.
• Al Bardi — In the Seih Al Khor suburb near the mountain foothills, with outdoor space suited to a marquee and extra power when needed.
• Al Harai — The suburb facing Al Subaihiya, with relatively open ground that allows tents and outdoor lighting.
