Condolence and majlis services in Dubai

Condolence and majlis services in Dubai: we prepare the place of condolence with what is needed to receive mourners — the tent or majlis, chairs and seating, quiet lighting, Arabic coffee, dates and water, and coffee servers — so the family can give its time to the visitors.

What the service is

A complete setup for the place of condolence — at home, in a tent beside it, or in a hall — from installation to removal after the condolence days. We agree with the family what is actually needed and add nothing that was not asked for.

Who it suits

For families receiving mourners at home or in their majlis, and for relatives or neighbours arranging it on the family’s behalf.

What we can arrange

  • A white condolence tent with closed sides and ventilation, sized to the site and the number
  • Comfortable chairs and side tables for coffee, water and dates
  • Carpets and floor cushions for those who prefer floor seating
  • Quiet lighting that lasts until late at night
  • A discreet sound system for Quran recitation
  • Male coffee servers for the men and female servers for the women
  • Arabic coffee, dates and cold water, replenished throughout
  • Cooling with air conditioners or mist fans, depending on the site and season
  • A sign at the entrance
  • Meals for mourners on request — the source is stated in the quotation

Pieces, sizes, quantities, timing and price are set in the quotation according to the site and the number of people.

What we need to send a quotation

  • The location: district, and a map link if possible
  • Whether the majlis is inside the house or in a tent or plot beside it
  • The rough number expected, and whether there is a men’s and a women’s majlis
  • Start time and number of days
  • What you need from the list above

What shapes the setup

The place
A majlis inside the house needs fewer chairs, less floor covering and less cooling than a tent on open ground, which needs flooring, sides and lighting.
The number
It sets the number of chairs and coffee servers and the amount of coffee, dates and water, and can be adjusted on the following days.
The city
It sets the arrival time and what may be needed if the tent stands outside the property line — see the next section.
Setup time
Installation is arranged before mourners arrive; removal after the last day, at a time the family chooses.

Working in Dubai

Our base is in Al Yarmook, Sharjah, and we serve Dubai; we confirm the arrival time when you call, according to the site. If the tent will stand outside the property line, the site requirements are checked with its management and the competent authority before confirmation.

Districts we serve in Dubai include Al Khawaneej, Mirdif, Nad Al Sheba, Al Barsha, Al Warqa, Jumeirah, Al Mizhar, Al Qusais, Deira, Al Rashidiya.

Next step

Call us or send the location and a rough number on WhatsApp. We do not ask for many details at a time like this; we come back only with what is needed and confirm what will be set up, and when we will arrive, before we start.

Condolence and majlis services across Dubai

The Dubai neighbourhoods we set up in, and what we plan for in each:

  • Al Khawaneej — A district of large villas; most events here are held in the home garden or the adjoining majlis. We set up tents and outdoor lighting with the evening wind in mind.
  • Mirdif — Villas and family majlis, usually reached through narrow inner streets, so we use smaller transport vehicles and arrive early to install.
  • Nad Al Sheba — Large outdoor spaces that allow tents and marquees, with extra power available for the lighting and sound systems.
  • Al Barsha — More hotel halls and serviced apartments than villas, so we keep to the installation times the venue management sets.
  • Al Warqa — Home majlis and courtyards; most requests are melcha and henna koshas sized for indoor spaces.
  • Jumeirah — Beachside villas; being close to the sea means higher humidity, so we choose flowers and fabrics that hold up all evening.
  • Al Mizhar — Family villas with gardens; most events are in the evening with full outdoor lighting.
  • Al Qusais — A mix of apartments and small halls; the most common requests are marriage contract (aqd) ceremonies and coffee hospitality.
  • Deira — City-centre halls; access needs truck parking arranged before the installation time.
  • Al Rashidiya — Majlis and villas; being near the airport makes morning arrival and installation easier.
  • Business Bay — Hotel halls and towers; installation goes through the service lifts with prior permission from building management.
  • Dubailand — Modern villa communities with outdoor space, well suited to transparent tents and suspended lighting.
  • Dubai Marina — Residential towers and waterfront hotel halls; loading is usually through the towers' car parks, so we arrange entry permits with building management before installation day.
  • Downtown Dubai — Upscale hotels and halls near Burj Khalifa, with set-up and take-down times fixed precisely by the hotel; we follow the venue's schedule in full.
  • Al Furjan — A modern family villa community; most requests are home-garden koshas and medium transparent tents.
  • Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) — A dense ring-shaped community of villas and apartments; its inner streets need an early arrival slot to avoid traffic.
  • Al Quoz — A district of warehouses and large event halls, suited to big occasions and corporate stages that need a large loading area.
  • Dubai Silicon Oasis — A family community of apartments and townhouses; the most common requests are melcha and henna koshas sized for home living rooms.
  • Al Wasl — A district of large villas close to the city centre; most events are held in the villa garden or majlis, with enough room for a tent and outdoor lighting.
